TCR Australia debutant Jordan Cox has revealed the look of his Honda Civic Type R TCR car during a brief shakedown at the Pheasant Wood circuit at Marulan in New South Wales today.

En route to The Bend Motorsport Park facility for the third round of the carsales TCR Australia Series, Cox and the Wall Racing Honda team took to the short rural circuit to shakedown three cars of its cars.

Cox, who will compete with team owner David Wall’s traditional #38, has revealed a classic factory Honda scheme, including support from his own backers Mainpoint Advisory, Crutcher Developments, Pitcher Partners and Bilstein.

Since receiving new Civic Type Rs, plus repairing John Martin’s damaged car, the Wall Racing team has had a big few weeks in the lead up to this weekend’s event.

Cox says that he is thankful for the support of his backers and is looking forward to The Bend event.

“Scotty from Mainpoint is a motorsport nutter and has been a friend and supporter of my driving career for the last two years,” Cox said.

“We’ve co-driven together in Production Car races and have had a lot fun along the way. Now he has thrown his support behind me to have a crack in the big leagues. I can’t thank him enough.

“I also have great support from Crutcher Developments, Pitcher Partners and Bilstein. They’ve all provided support for me in various racing categories and I’m pleased to represent them at The Bend this weekend.”
