Jean-Eric Vergne has won his third Formula E race of the 2019/20 after leading Round 11 in Bern, Switzerland from start to finish.

The DS Techeetah driver didn’t have the race all his own way however with Kiwi driver Mitch Evans (Jaguar Racing) challenging Vergne for the entire 45-minute race. Evans attempted several passing moves around the outside to get past, however clever defensive driving from the Frenchman kept him at bay even in the wet and tricky conditions at the end of the race.

Swiss driver Sebastien Buemi completed the podium in his home race for the Nissan e.dams team.

The race wasn’t without carnage. Just seconds into the race, a collision between Sam Bird and Pascal Wehrlein caused the track to be blocked triggering the race to red flagged and completely restarted after a lengthy delay.
