INDYCAR RELEASE 2019 CALENDAR

Indycar organisers have confirmed their 17-race schedule for the 2019 season, with the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) making its first appearance on the calendar.
The 2019 schedule remains similar to this years with the notable changes being the replacement of the Phoenix as the second round of the year with COTA. While Laguna Seca makes a return after a 15-year absence replacing Sonoma as the final round of the year.
Also of note, is the 103rd running of the Indianapolis 500 which is scheduled to take place on May 26.
The diverse schedule is divided up into seven road course races, five street races and five oval races commencing in March on the streets of St Petersburg and concluding at Laguna Seca in September.
