Walkinshaw Andretti United have revealed their new logo ahead of their official rebranding on January 1st, 2018.

The new logo is described by the team as a visual representation of the three iconic motorsport brands coming together for the 2018 Supercars season, Walkinshaw Racing, Andretti Autosport and United Autosports.

Ryan Walkinshaw Director of Walkinshaw Racing is pleased with the representation of the new joint venture.

“To create a logo that identifies with all three organisations was really important to us, and it’s turned out fantastic. It really speaks to the heritage of Walkinshaw Racing, especially here in Australia, while at the same time clearly representing both Andretti Autosport and United Autosports.” said Walkinshaw.

The logo brings together elements from all three organisations, with the helmet paying tribute to the heritage of both Walkinshaw Racing and Andretti Autosport.

While the red and blue in the shield and the white of the stars epitomise the colours of United Autosports, also seen in their logo. It is also the colours of the Scottish and American flags, which represent the Walkinshaw, Andretti and Brown families.

Lastly the three stars at the bottom of the shield signify the three organisations that have come together.

Michael Andretti, Team Owner and CEO of Andretti Autosport, is proud of new representation of his teams upcoming Supercars involvement.

“Our three teams have pulled together to create this new logo and I think it has come out fantastic. We dug deep to identify what best represents not just the new team, but each individual party as well. I’m so proud to have the Andretti Autosport brand represented alongside our new Supercars partners and can’t wait for 2018.” said Andretti.

Zak Brown, Team Owner and Chairman of United Autosports, was also happy with the new logo.

“I think the new logo looks great. It captures all three companies in one visual representation and we at United Autosports are happy and proud to be associated with both Walkinshaw Racing and Andretti Autosport.” said Brown.
