Adelaide CBD residents and business owners got the shock of their lives when a trio of F1 cars took over the city’s central Business District filming a promotional video for the upcoming Adelaide Motorsport Festival.

The 2000 Jos Verstappen Arrows A21 (driven by Josh Keen), 1994 Emerson Fittipaldi Arrows (driven by Tim Slade) and 1986 Gerhard Berger Benetton B186 (driven by Cameron Waters) were joined by a Ducati Superbike (ridden by Troy Bayliss) and HDT A9X Torana (driven by John Bowe) were let loose on the streets of Adelaide’s Central Business District to help promote the Adelaide December 9-10 event.

“Wednesday night went almost perfectly to plan. We could have done without the rain but the 40 cameras we had involved have
captured the imagery we require for the production of our short film that will be released next week.” said Adelaide Motorsport Festival Director Tim Possingham.
