SUPERSTAR AMERICAN driver Kyle Larson has announced he is heading down under following confirmation that he’ll race in Australia early next year.

By GEOFF ROUNDS

The versatile racer is set to join up with Dyson Motorsport from January 22, 2020 for four nights of racing across southern Australia.

He will join his Kyle Larson Racing teammate Carson Macedo for competition in Victoria at Avalon Raceway for the President’s Cup, followed by the King’s Challenge at Borderline Speedway in Mount Gambier, South Australia and conclude with the prestigious Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic at Premier Speedway in Warrnambool, Victoria.

This will be the 27-year-old’s first appearance in Australia since the 2015/2016 season and his first attempt at this string of four races since 2012.

“This is something that came together just a few days ago and I can’t thank Sean and Felicity Dyson enough for the opportunity to get back to Australia,” Larson said in a release today.

“Carson has driven for Dyson Motorsports the last few seasons and they’ve always been competitive, so I can’t wait to get behind the wheel of the USA99 car and hopefully win my first race down under.”
