Armchair motorsport fans are in for one of the biggest racing weekends of the year, with live broadcasts of Supercars, Formula 1 and MotoGP from Friday.
For Foxtel subscribers, there’ll 52 hours of live, ad break-free coverage of the Gold Coast 600, Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix and F1 Mexican GP.
Even free-to-air viewers are in for a bonanza, with the 10/WIN networks showing the major action at Surfers Paradise and Phillip Island.
Fox Sports will begin coverage of the GC 600 with a special 90-minute edition of ‘Supercars Trackside’ from 4.30 pm AEDT on Thursday.
The Surfers telecast will continue on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, when all Supercars track action will be shown ad-free on Fox Sports channel 506.
The Phillip Island MotoGP will be on Fox Sports 507 from Friday to Sunday, again ad break-free during the racing.
Fox Sports will also show the F1 Mexican GP qualifying and race live without a break on 507 in the early hours of Sunday and Monday mornings.
For free-to-air viewers, Channel 10 and regional affiliate WIN will show the Gold Coast 600 from 12.30-6.30 pm AEDT on Saturday and again from 12.30-6.30 pm AEDT on Sunday.
The Australian Motorcycle GP will be on 10 Bold and regional equivalents from 12.30-4 pm AEDT on Saturday and Sunday.
Fox Sports’ coverage of the main Phillip Island AGP on 507 – live from 3 pm AEDT on Sunday – is timed to finish by 4 pm, followed 15 minutes later by the second and deciding race of the Gold Coast 600 on 506.
Qualifying for the Mexican GP will be on Fox Sports 507 from 5 am AEDT on Sunday, with the race at 6.10am AEDT on Monday.
