The Virgin Australia Supercars Championship has released the pitlane order for 2019 season.

Triple Eight will return prime pitlane position, claiming the garage closest to pit exit after winning the team’s championship once again 2018. However, after dropping their third entry, they’ll have rivals DJR Team Penske right next door in 2019.

Tickford Racing will take the next garages, although after reducing their own fleet of REC’s down to three they’ll bring 23Red Racing in as a customer entry to fill the void of the fourth car.

With both Triple Eight and Tickford Racing handing back a REC each, the field will be reduced 24 cars and 12 shared pitlane booms.

Two car squads Erebus Motorsport and Walkinshaw Andretti United fill the next couple of garages ahead of Brad Jones Racing who will once again pair up their third car, the Tim Blanchard Motorsport customer entry, with single-car team Matt Stone Racing.

Kelly Racing and Garry Rogers Motorsport slot into the few garages with the former Nissan factory squad maintaining their four-car lineup in 2019.

Rounding out the pitlane will be the new partnership of single car teams Tekno Autosports and Team 18.
