Following his success in Adelaide, Garry Jacobson will join Rick Kelly in the No. 15 Castrol Racing Nissan. Winner of Race 2 in this year’s Super2 Championship, Jacobson will continue to campaign Kelly’s old chassis with MW Motorsport for the remainder of the season.

Dean Fiore will partner up with Michael Caruso for the 5th consecutive year in the No. 23 Drive Racing Nissan. The pair recorded a competitive 6th placed result at last year’s Bathurst 1000.

Simona De Silvestro will be joined by young-gun Alex Rullo in the No. 78 Team Harvey Norman entry. The 17-year-old Rullo has joined MW Motorsport for this year’s Super2 Championship after completing a full season in the main game last year. The West Australian recorded an impressive Top 15 result in his first attempt at the mountain in 2017.

Andre Heimgartner will be supported by Aaren Russell in the No. 7 Plus Fitness Racing Altima for the Sandown 500, Bathurst 1000 and Gold Coast 600. Russell drove alongside Heimgartner in 2016 and is no stranger to the main game, having started the Bathurst 1000 on three previous occasions. Heimgartner was arguably the star of last year’s enduros, after recording a podium finish at the Surfers Paradise event, so the team is very excited for the longer form races.

The Pirtek Enduro Cup begins at the Sandown 500, 14-16 September.
