MARC II RACING FOR 12 HOUR SHAKEDOWN

MARC Cars is preparing its latest cars for next month’s Bathurst 12 Hour.

Three of the new Mustang-shaped cars, first revealed in Auto Action in December, are scheduled to appear in the event, following a shakedown at Ipswich next week.

The cars will be powered by the familiar 5.2-litre Ford ‘Coyote’ V8 engine, and are expected to lap the Mount Panorama track around 4s faster than the previous Ford Focus and Mazda3-shaped cars, which have become a familiar sight in Australian and International GT races in recent times.
