2018 AUSSIE RACING CARS CALENDAR RELEASED
Aussie Racing Cars have announced their 2018 calendar, which will see the series’s seven round schedule commence in Tasmania.
The series will headline Baskerville Raceway’s 60th anniversary celebrations on the 23-25th of February as its opening round. Over ten years since the series last visited the Hobart track.
Aussie Racing Cars will join up with the the Supercars support program for Phillip Island, Winton, Queensland Raceway and the inaugural Supercars round at the yet to be completed The Bend Motorsport Park for the next four rounds of the series.
The series will link up with Shannons Nationals for the penultimate round of the season at Sydney Motorsport Park before rejoining the Supercars program for the seventh and final round as part of the Gold Coast 600.
Aussie Racing Cars Category Manager Brad Ward said that he was pleased with how the 2018 calendar had turned out.
“We’re very excited to be able to share in two significant moments next year, the first as the main drawcard when Baskerville Raceway celebrates its 60th anniversary, and the second being a part of Supercars’ historic first Tailem Bend round,” said Ward.
“This year was another thrilling series and we have no reason to believe that 2018 will be any different with the new challenges on offer.
