Nick Percat’s Brad Jones Racing Commodore will feature a bright orange Timken livery for the final round of the year, completing the teams sponsor rotation for 2017.

Timken will step up their involvement with the team to take over the No. 8 Holden Commodore, for the season finale up in Newcastle next weekend.

“I’ve had fantastic support from Michael and the team at Timken this year. They’ve supported Brad & Kim for a couple of years as well, so it’s awesome to reveal the Timken Supercar for the finale.” said Percat

“There’s nothing else like this on track, so the orange Timken Commodore is sure to stand out.”

“All the teams and drivers are really eager to get to Newcastle. The track is going to provide a new challenge for everyone. The track design looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun. It has a combination of low-speed and high-speed corners, including a couple of 90-degree turns and a hairpin, plus a mix of elevation changes.”

“It has plenty of potential to shake up the order a little bit, and with the championship still up for grabs it all comes down to who can get their head, and car around it the quickest. It’s going to be one hell of a finale for the fans!”

Michael Pearson, Managing Director of Timken Australia is looking forward to being involved with BJR for the all new event.

“Timken is thrilled to be partnering with Nick Percat and Brad Jones Racing for not only the final round of the year, but this exciting new event at Newcastle.” said Pearson

“We’ve had the design locked in since before Sandown, so its great to finally show it off to the fans.”

Supercars action kicks off on 24th of November with two 40 minute practice sessions on the new street circuit.
