Adrian Burgess has returned to the Supercars paddock today, joining Tekno Autosports at the Sandown 500 this weekend.
It’s the first time Burgess has been seen at a Supercars event since being let go by Walkinshaw Racing back in May.
The Tekno team confirmed that Burgess would be joining them for the weekend in a consultancy role to allow Jonathon Webb to focus on driving, also confirming that the team owner would co-drive with Will Davison for the Pirtek Enduro Cup.
Webb confirmed that the two had been in discussions in the lead up to the event. The pair having a long standing friendship since working together at DJR.
At this stage the arrangement is only for the Sandown 500, but it could extend to the remainder of the Pirtek Enduro Cup.
