AUSSIE JAMES DAVISON GETS NASCAR XFINITY SERIES START
Aussie, James Davison, make his second NASCAR XFINITY Series start with Joe Gibbs Racing later this month.
Davison, who filled in for Sébastien Bourdais at the Indianapolis 500, has an extensive racing resume with recent experience in IndyCar, IMSA SportsCar Championship Series, Grand-Am Rolex SportsCar Series and Pirelli World Challenge.
The Melbourne born driver who is now based in America, first competed in NASCAR last year driving for Mario Gosselin at Road America, will add two more starts to his tally when takes over the No. 20 Toyota Camry at the next two road course events, Mid-Ohio on August 12 and Road America on August 27.
“I’m excited to wheel the No. 20 for Joe Gibbs Racing at Mid-Ohio and Road America,” said Davison. “The team’s level of professionalism has been fantastic to be a part of and I look forward to getting down to business.”
