The Williams F1 team have celebrated their 40th anniversary with a special event at Silverstone in the UK.

Headlining the event was the running of Nigel Mansell’s FW14B 1992 championship winning car. The first time the car had been run on track since winning that title. Williams also used the event to showcase many of their iconic Formula One cars, with several taking to the track for demonstration laps.

On hand for the event were current Williams drivers Fillipe Massa and Lance Stroll as well as Williams Heritage division official driver (and ex-F1 driver) Karun Chandhok, who took responsibility for the FW14B.

Joining the current drivers, a collection of former Williams drivers including, Nigel Mansell, Damon Hill, David Coulthard, Mark Webber and both Nico and Keke Rosberg.

Sir Frank Williams and co-founder Sir Patrick Head also made an appearance.
