ADELAIDE MOTORSPORT FESTIVAL ACCEPTING ENTRIES FOR 2017
Organisers of the Adelaide Motorsport Festival are getting ready for another big year, opening expressions of interest to to compete in the Victoria Park sprint events to be held on the the 9th and 10th of December.
In 2016 the festival created plenty of interest with a variety of vehicles taking to the shortened version of Adelaide Grand Prix circuit, in Victoria Park, including several Formula 1 cars.
The event, set to largest classic themed motorsport meeting in the country, continues to grow. With the Victoria Park Sprint running alongside the Adelaide Rally, organisers expecting over 500 cars to enter between the two events.
At this stage entries are now open for the following categories.
- Formula 1
- Open wheelers (all ages)
- 5 Litre Touring Cars
- Heritage Touring Cars
- Pre 1950 and Invited Historic Race Cars
- Time Attack
- Ferrari Club Australia Challenge
- Historic Sports Sedans
- Improved Production
- Porsche through the Ages
- Formula Ford
- Supercar Sprint
- Sports Cars
- Historic Sport Sedans
- Pre 1990 Racing Motorbikes
- Special Interest Vehicles
Entries are via currently through expression of interest for a fee of $40. If accepted a $795 entry fee is applicable which includes garaging and souvenir garage signage.
