After an overwhelming and positive response to their Australian Grand Prix Supporting Equality Commodore, Holden and Brad Jones Racing are excited to unveil another one-off Supporting Equality livery for the upcoming Perth SuperSprint event.

The team have debuted a bold 50/50 blue and pink livery in support of gender equality in all its forms.

Team Boss Brad Jones said “It’s a simple message of supporting gender equality. Whilst motorsport is a male dominated sport, we need to be open and inclusive to everyone.”

In terms of the workplace, BJR has always strived to employ the best person for the job, no matter of their gender. In recent weeks the team has shown its unity and team strength with major car rebuilds after both the AGP and Tasmania events. All team members have gone above and beyond to achieve their one goal of racing to win.

Nick Percat added “The guys and girls at BJR are passionate about motorsport and each bring a unique skill set to the team to make it what it is. Brad and Kim have employed a great bunch of people there and I’ve often said it doesn’t matter whether you are a driver, mechanic, or the TAFE student helping out, everyone is treated exactly the same.”

“We’ve had a pretty interesting start to the season. We’ve got a few rounds coming up that BJR are traditionally strong at so we’ll be looking to qualify further up the front and keep out of the trouble that we’ve unfortunately been caught up in over the last few rounds.”

In addition to Holden being on board for this event, nationwide fitness giant ‘Plus Fitness’ is putting its support behind BJR for the Perth SuperSprint. More information on that partnership to follow.
